Adoni-Bezeq said: Seventy kings having their thumbs and feet cut off, gathered the remains under my table God gives me what I did. He was taken to Jerusalem and died there. (Judges 1:7)
Adoni-Bezeq was a powerful king. He had won seventy other kingdoms, and cut off the thumbs and big toes of each of the defeated kings. When he was finally captured by the men of Judah, that him did they? They cut off his thumbs and big toes. And he said "What I did to the other, God has required of me."
In the New Testament we read "Make no mistake: we do not make fun of God. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).
often frustrated WE ARE THE IDEA THAT SOMEONE IS IN GEAR escape the consequences of his evil deeds. BUT SOONER OR LATER, THEIR SINS WILL catch up.
The law of reaping what you sow is an inevitable law. But at the same time a great law. If you sow love, kindness and forgiveness, you will reap love, kindness and forgiveness. If you sow mercy, you'll reap mercy.
Maybe your past is it dark and dismal, and you've caused some bad seeds. Be comforted! God opened a path so you do not reap what you sow. He took the guilt of your iniquity and totally placed on His Son. Jesus Christ has reaped the consequences for you - so you can reap the glory of love and the eternal kingdom of God.
