The three steps of the worship

Enter an authentic approach to worship is part of a concrete movement of our will. The Lord may be found by those who sincerely seek him.
can identify three steps that take us from the drought of our lives to experience blessed by the presence of God. As proposed by John Piper, we will mention in order reverse.
- Final step: "We experience a pure joy to the many perfections of God joy of recognition, astonishment, of hope, admiration. At this level, we we feel overwhelmed by the excellence of God, and we are overflowing with the joy of his fellowship. "
- Step Two: We still do not feel a sense of fullness and abandonment but " only that of desire and aspiration. " We know, perhaps having already experienced , how communion with God is an experience rich and deep. We encourage to desire his presence, even if the immediate impression that we our heart is cold.
- Step: This is the time of drought. We are having trouble finding some attraction in prayer and meditation of Scripture. Yet even then God works. It opens our eyes to the poverty of our condition and our lack of love. Let us not be indifferent to these "sighs" of our soul. They are the work of the Spirit would have us enter a renewed communion with God.

March 4 - Confession and Forgiveness

David said to Nathan: "I have sinned against the Lord!" And Nathan said to David: "The Lord forgives your sin, you will not die." (2 Samuel 12:13)

The confession of sin of David was a true confession. He had actually sinned against the Lord. His attempt to conceal his sin was only complicated matters.

But note that with the confession of David, came an immediate pardon. Oh, if only we could stop trying to hide or justify our sins! Forgiveness can only come with the confession. It is not until he recognized and confessed your guilt before God that you may receive the cleansing that God wants to give you.

GOD TAKES PLEASURE TO MERCY.

He wants to forgive. But as long as there was no confession, God has no opportunity to exercise His mercy and His grace.

What a relief when the burden of sin departs. The Hebrew word "blessed" means "oh, happy!". That's what David describes in Psalm 32 when he wrote "Blessed" or "Happy" is the man whose sin is forgiven. How happy is the man who was restored to its communion with God.

It is important to note that even though God forgave David's sin was still much left its mark. Do not think you can sin without it leaves marks in your life. God forgives sin and punishment is removed. Nails in a board can be removed, but the board will always be marked by holes. Your sin can be removed, but it leaves its mark.

__________

Father, we pray that Your Holy Spirit speaks to us, who are drowning in guilt. May there be any confession, so that could also be this outpouring of Thy grace and Thy forgiveness.
Amen.

March 3 - The God Who Seeks

David said: "Fear not! For sure, I'll use kindness to you because of your father Jonathan. I will make all the land of Saul your father, and thou shalt eat always at my table. " (2 Samuel 9:7)

Several years ago, David made a covenant with Jonathan, the son of Saul. David had promised, out of respect for Jonathan, when he acceded to the throne, he would treat the family of Saul with great kindness. So, once David came to the throne, he was blessed and that God did prosper, David sought a descendant of Saul to show him kindness.

As a descendant of David trying to show her kindness, God seeks the lost to show the overflowing richness of His love and His goodness towards them in Jesus Christ. That's what makes Christianity different religions. In religions men seek God. In Christianity, God seeks the lost men.

Mephibosheth was actually scared when we brought him to David, because he did not know the intentions of David. So often we mistake about God and we imagine that He is angry against us or we disgusted. We believe that He seeks us to chastise us severely. But we are wrong.

David wanted bless Mephibosheth out of respect for Jonathan. God wants to bless us for the sake of Christ.

THIS IS NOT BECAUSE WE DESERVE - THAT'S BECAUSE WE WANT JESUS TO LEGACY.

Like Mephibosheth dined at the king's table as a member of the royal family, we have also been introduced into the family of God and invited to sit at His table.

__________

Thank you, Father, for joy, blessing, wealth which we experience at your table with Jesus.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

The danger of the Church

"While Samson was sleeping on the lap of Delilah, she was stripped of his authority to act for God. A Church that sleeps on the lap of the world will contribute to its evil, then she should have troubled his conscience. "

God is a teacher friendly

" God is not a rhetorician pusser, always ready to condemn us when we say something is wrong, but rather a teacher friendly, ready to fix this that through our weakness and our ignorance, we are doing wrong, and willing to give us the benefit doubt. "
Richard Hooker (1564-1600)

March 2 - Who Am I?

Then King David went before the Lord and said: "Who am I, O Lord, and what is my house, that You have brought me reach this point? (2 Samuel 7:18)

is Nathan the prophet, who told David the words of God. "David, you can build a house for me, but I will build a house for you. Your son, who will sit on the throne after thee shall build a house for me. And I will establish your throne forever. "David understood correctly that this meant that the Messiah would be his descendant.

David was so upset, he begged to be excused and Nathan went to pray before God. He recognized that it was totally unworthy of such favor, and realized that it was the grace of God which had been so lavished in such abundance.

Like David, you may say, "Who am I ? I did something wrong. I blew it. "Consider the life of David. This guy was not a choirboy. It was much worse than you, yet look what God has done for him.

SOMETIMES IT SEEMS THAT GOD THE SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE CANDIDATE FOR THE LEAST GIVE HIM HIS LOVE AND HIS KINDNESS.

So often, God is in the gutter to find the recipient of His grace. He points out, the lava and turns - making him a child of God prepared for His kingdom. That is the grace of God.
__________

Thank you, Father, for Your abundant grace. Despite all our shortcomings, You have loved us and you started to cover ourselves with rich blessings. But as if this were not enough, You spoke of eternity to come and the glory that will be revealed.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

"What does this book for me?" A daily walk

The German pastor Martin Niemöller opposed to Nazism. For this reason, he was interned in 1937. He remained in a concentration camp until the end of the last war. He wrote:
"The Bible: that this book meant to me during the long years of solitary confinement and especially during the last four I spent in a cell at Dachau? The Word of God was everything to me - comfort, strength, guidance, hope, mistress of my days, the companion of my nights, the bread that feeds me and saved me of starvation, the water that refreshes my soul.
's more when I ceased to be alone in my prison. My top window was high to see outside but not too high to call and give some encouragement from the Bible, like seeds caught by the keeper. Later, when we allowed me to walk an hour a day in the yard, I found other windows too high to send the message of the Word of God to a brother in prison. "The Word of God is not bound. She becomes consolation, strength, guidance and hope for others like it should be.
And today, what happened to this book for me? I think exactly the same thing, only restrictions no longer exist and the opportunities are becoming rarer. The work is always placed before us, facing a world that expects God's life and peace. Our task is to reveal to him, to make him know by reading these pages and wonderful to announce a suffering humanity the message of peace that surpasses all understanding. We have a book given by God, take it, read it, do it in part to others and keep it, because it shows you the path of salvation. "
